Andrea Lampert

Andrea Lampert is Vice President, Human Resources Strategy & Talent Management at Express Scripts headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. In her current role, Andrea is responsible for aligning Express Scripts human resources and business strategies, leading the development and implementation of human resources initiatives in the areas of talent acquisition, organization & leadership development, analytics, change management, project management, and communications. Andrea joined Express Scripts in 2012. Prior experiences include talent acquisition, human resources, operations and clinical leadership positions with several leading healthcare and human capital focused organizations. Andrea earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Pennsylvania, a master of science from Boston University, and a master certificate in human resources management from Villanova University. Andrea also holds certification as a senior professional in human resources (SPHR).

Angel Knorr

Angel Knorr is the VP of Recruiting for Functional Pathways and started with the company as a Recruiter in 1996.  She leads our Recruitment team in developing hiring strategies that are aligned with the companies’ goals and values. Hiring qualified and innovative therapists to meet the growing needs for our company is the top priority for our Recruitment team.  In 2010, Angel founded The Cookie Jar Fund, which is our company Charity. The Cookie Jar Fund provides aid to employees of Functional Pathways and facility employees in times of need. Angel also oversees special projects such as our Annual CEU Symposium, FP Newsletter, social media contests, CEU360 partnership and Random Acts of Flowers partnership.

Arthur L. Gruen, MD, FACEP

As CEO of EA Health, Dr. Arthur L. Gruen is committed to empowering healthcare providers. Dr. Gruen has dedicated his career to ensuring that physicians are fairly compensated for the lifesaving care they provide. Dr. Gruen also currently serves as the Executive Medical Director of Emergency Services at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego. He is the Executive Physician Advisor for AMN Healthcare, and a member of the Qualcomm Life Advisory Council. A graduate of Harvard University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Gruen completed his clinical training in emergency medicine at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center.

Catharine MacLaren, PhD, LCSW, CEAP

Catharine MacLaren, Ph.D., LCSW, CEAP, is the Vice President of Talent & Diversity for Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems (EMHS). She is also an adjunct instructor for Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies and has a small private mental health counseling practice. Catharine is the immediate Past President of the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Association of Southern Maine (HRASM).

Chris Ruder

VP, Patient Care Services (Nursing) The University of Kansas Hospital

In less than 15 years with the hospital, Chris Ruder has moved up the ranks from student nurse to senior nursing director. In 2005, he won the KU School of Nursing’s Early Career Achievement Award. Ruder directs seven acute-care nursing units and works with other leadership teams on issues ranging from fiscal to strategic planning to quality and safety for patients and staff. But, a great deal of time is spent simply “solving problems” with doctors, nurses, patients and patients’ families. Ruder is currently involved in a project to create a Nursing Resource Center at the hospital to assist with patients’ understanding of healthcare issues.

Dan Dolan

For nearly 30 years Dan has been associated with recruitment, including 12 years with a staffing firm, holding several leadership roles and responsible for multiple states. As the Regional Vice President for a national firm, Dan was accountable for 34 profit centers, more than 80 staff associates, and approximately 40,000 annual W-2s. In addition, Dan was the business liaison among the multiple service lines in the market. He has contributed to multiple publications and associations, as well as the Federal Reserve Board. During this tenure, Dan was also the VP for Legislative Affairs for the Ohio Staffing Services Association.

For the past 7 years, Dan has been managing Talent Acquisition for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, which includes the health system, the College of Medicine and the physician group practices. His initial concentration surrounds executive/leadership recruitment – facilitating searches for the C-suite, Deans, Vice Deans, Center Directors, and multiple Department Chairs. In addition to leadership recruitment, Dan’s team is responsible for faculty and staff recruitment in an organization of approximately 17,000 employees – including the recent successful billion dollar expansion.

Dan has a bachelor degree from West Virginia University and has been in the Columbus, Ohio market for more than 25 years.
